Let the AI agents work. Keep control.

We help organizations put AI agents to real work, with clear limits, controls and traceability, so the agents can take on more autonomy step by step. We apply the same principles in Navis Mater ourselves.

Who we help

Three ways in

Navis Mater · AI agent governance

Want to put AI agents to real work?

We help you give every agent a clear mandate, bounded authority and traceable documentation, so the agents can take on more autonomy without you losing control. We use GAO, the framework we developed and run ourselves.

CyberResilient · Cyber Defencely

Strengthening cybersecurity and working systematically on NIS2?

CyberResilient measures your maturity and turns findings into a living risk register with owners and deadlines. Cyber Defencely helps you carry out the improvements in practice.

NetSymphony · AceBit

Modernising and automating your network?

NetSymphony brings the whole network under one governed layer and automates operations, whatever the vendor. AceBit is the network consultancy that designs, builds and operates automated networks for you.

Why it matters

Agents scale. Your attention doesn’t.

Organizations can add AI agents faster than they can supervise them. Today’s tools each govern only one piece.

Tools govern the pieces
  • Agent platformsgovern agents
  • Security platformsgovern risk
  • Workflow systemsgovern work
  • AI governancegoverns AI use

Even with all four in place, no one can answer:

  • What authority does the agent have, and who granted it?
  • Which person answers for the result?
  • How is that authority taken back?

The Governed Agentic Organization (GAO) ties the pieces together

  • Every agent has a mandate and bounded authority, decided by an accountable person.
  • A named person stands behind every consequential decision.
  • Authority can be taken back, and everything leaves a record.

There are two ways to fail

  • Too little governance Authority nobody decided to give Agents do more than anyone decided, and no one can show who answers for the result.
  • With GAO Autonomy that grows with evidence Routine work runs on its own inside clear limits. Exceptions go to an accountable person, and everything leaves a record.
  • Too much manual control Everything waits for approval Every action needs a manual sign-off. Human attention becomes the bottleneck and the value never arrives.

Machine speed.Human accountability.

The companies we build and invest in

Portfolio

The platform company: an operating system for cyber resilience, built by former Swedish public-sector CISOs. It connects assessment, risk and action in one continuous workflow — measure your maturity, turn findings into a living risk register with owners and deadlines, and show the board the work is moving forward.

FAQ

Questions and answers

What is Navis Mater?

Navis Mater is an active holding company that builds, owns and invests in companies in cybersecurity and resilience. We also develop the Governed Agentic Organization (GAO), and Navis Mater is its reference implementation.

What is the Governed Agentic Organization (GAO)?

An organization type in which humans and AI agents work together under explicit mandates, attributable identity, bounded authority, enforceable controls, durable evidence and named human accountability. It was created at Navis Mater and is described in the flagship white paper.

Does GAO replace the tools we already have?

No. Agent platforms, security platforms, workflow systems and AI governance each solve one part. GAO ties them together at the level of the organization, so you can answer who may do what, under which controls, with what evidence — and which person answers for it.

What does Navis Mater offer customers?

AI agent governance advisory, based on our GAO framework, for organizations putting AI agents to real work: a discovery workshop, a governed pilot, a production rollout with your team and ongoing governance as the number of agents grows. For cybersecurity and NIS2 we point you to CyberResilient and Cyber Defencely; for networks to NetSymphony and AceBit.

Which companies are part of the group?

The portfolio has four companies: CyberResilient, the platform company building an operating system for cyber resilience; Cyber Defencely, the consulting and implementation company in information security; NetSymphony, the network company bringing enterprise networks under one governed layer; and AceBit, the network consultancy that designs, builds and operates automated networks.

Where is Navis Mater based?

Navis Mater AB (reg. no. 559537-7184) was founded in 2025 and is based in Stockholm, Sweden. It operates toward a European market.
